Lagoon Small Tray

Trays are made of Douglas Fir. In Yaki Sugi style. They are first burned with a torch. Then, the char is removed with a series of brushes to expose the grain. Finally, I color wash with acrylic paint in lagoon colors and seal with several layers of food-safe top coat. Stylish and functional, they can be used to display your jewelry, hold your keys, or as a soap dish. Small dishes measure 5-6 inches in length, 3 inches in width, and no more than 2 inches depth.
