Sunset Centerpiece Tray

Trays are made of Douglas Fir in Yaki Sugi style. They are first burned with a torch. Then, the char is removed with a series of brushes to expose the grain. Finally, I color wash with acrylic paint in sunset colors and seal with several layers of food-safe top coat. Stylish and functional, they can be used to display your jewelry, charcuterie (nothing hot recommended), or candles. Dimensions are 15 3/4 inches in length, 9 inches in width, and 1 1/2 inches in depth.
