How is it done?
Whenever possible, reclaimed and repurposed materials are used. Most wood is Douglas Fir and paint is artist-grade acrylic. There is also a minimum three coats of flat, water-based sealant.

Damien's process of making these unique items starts with shaping the raw wood with saws and grinders. He then burns the wood with a propane torch and removes the char with hand brushing. The next step is bringing out the wood grain by power brushing. Lastly, he cleans the wood, paints it, and applies sealant.
